Welcome to YPSD/MYNA
Youth Development and Empowerment is a strategic priority for ISNA. For that reason ISNA established the Youth Programming & Services Department to support the Muslim Youth of North America, MYNA and also to offer the following services to other youth organizations and community centers:
- Accrediting camps and camp counselors and directors
- Certifying volunteers, youth workers and program directors
- Conducting youth leadership and parenting workshops
- Developing youth development curriculum that is both rooted in the Quran and the Sunnah (practices of the Prophet pbuh)and informed by current social science research
- Researching needs and assets of Muslim American youth.
The challenges that face our Muslim American Youth are great, but the conviction and potential that they have is greater. It is this conviction and potential that inspires us to continue to offer services of quality and excellence to our today’s leaders, our youth.
