ISNA MYAN MAR RELIEF
The
Islamic Society of North America joins the world in expressing its
heartfelt condolences to the victims of Cyclone Nargis which has
wreaked havoc on Burma and its people. Initial reports indicate that
more than 22,000 people have lost their lives and another 41,000 people
are missing; officials further estimate that hundreds of thousands of
people have been left homeless.
At
this tragic moment in the lives of the Burmese ISNA asks that you
contribute generously to ease the suffering of Myan Mar’s citizens. The
sheer destruction of this calamity must certainly move Muslims to reach
out once again and shoulder the burden of our fellow brothers and
sisters.
