YOUTH FUNDRAISING ADMINISTRATOR
ISNA Development Foundation (IDF) and Youth Programming and Services Department (YPSD) are seeking a motivated, efficient person to fill the full-time position of Youth Fundraising Administrator, starting March 15, 2012.
Job Description:
The Youth Fundraising Administrator is responsible for providing administrative management support for ISNA fundraising activities to support its youth programs and services. He or she is specifically responsible for undertaking the following projects:
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the development and implementation of IDF fundraising campaigns related to programs and services supported by ISNA YPSD. Such campaigns include:
- Pre- and post-event fundraising campaigns;
- Project-based fundraising campaigns;
- Grants in the area of youth development.
- Develop and implement consistent communication plan with youth grassroots connections including MYNA Alumni, events’ participants’ families, events’ counselors and other key stakeholders who are directly involved with the organization. Such plan will include
- Keeping stakeholders informed about ISNA youth programs and services;
- Actively seek stakeholders’ input and vision of youth work;
- Organize special events for specific stakeholders segments such as MYNA Alumni.
Qualifications:
Successful applicants are expected to be versed in administrative work; having previous experience with non-profit organizations is preferable. Applicants must fulfill the following:
- College degree with administrative experience;
- Excellent organization skills;
- Excellent computer skills;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work with diverse age groups;
- Previous office experience is preferred;
- Familiarity with the reality of Muslim American families and youth
Note:
The position is a full time job. Successful applicants will receive competitive salary and benefits. Pay is commensurate with education, skills and experience.
