Job Title: Imam

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

Job Description: Islamic Society of southern Texas is seeking a full time Imam, Hafiz preferred.

Responsibilities: Responsibilities include leading daily and Friday Prayers, teaching, and Dawah. This is a full time position.


Qualifications:

• Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies with a concentration in Fiqh, Tafseer, Aqeedha and/or related fields.
• A good command of the English language.
• Strong communication skills.
• It is desirable for the applicants to have: US experience, a master’s degree, and experience in teaching and counseling youth.
