Jumma Khutbah (Friday Sermon)

A khutbah is a sermons made on Friday ina congregational mosque before the special prayer (salat al-jum'ah). The custom goes back to the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Khutbahs are mostly given from a minbar or a series of small steps that represent as a pulpit.
